A well handled complaint about bullying and harassment

An employee made a request that they not have to report to their immediate supervisor and a second colleague.  They could not provide any valid reasons for this, only that it was their personal preference. This request was declined by the agency.

Three months later, the employee made a complaint to the agency under the agency’s bullying and harassment policy about their supervisor and the second colleague.

In their complaint, they alleged their supervisor had made inappropriate and insensitive comments towards them in team meetings on a number of occasions and had given them work above their classification level. They also alleged another colleague had made suggestive and inappropriate comments to them in a work group chat, which they considered to be sexual harassment.
